Last week, Image Resources had the pleasure of video recording the FJA’s Annual CLEs along with attending as an Eagle Benefactor exhibitor. The convention and expo began June 22nd and concluded on June 25th. This year’s festivities took place at The Breakers Palm Beach overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. Last week included the best CLEs, networking opportunities and FJA leaders all in one place.
Throughout the time we were there, many social gatherings took place. On Thursday, there was an FJA justice luncheon featuring General Hugh Shelton. General Shelton served 38 years in the military, culminating in the highest-ranking position of his profession. He shared about the value-based leadership lessons he learned throughout his lengthy military career. Currently, General Shelton runs the General Shelton Leadership Challenge Institute that provides children and young adults the opportunity to develop values-based leadership skills.
The President’s Big Bash was held Thursday evening to celebrate Todd Copeland’s year as FJA President. After a good old fashion roast of Mr. Copeland by his fellow FJA friends, guests dined on delicious food and delectable desserts. The night ended with music and dancing while guests mingled with one another.
On Friday a Presidential Luncheon was held to swear in the 2016-2017 FJA Officers and EAGLE awards ceremony. Some of the awards presented included Recruiting Champion, Centurion, Legend, Gold, Silver and Bronze.
A combination of great speaker during the seminars and lovely events thrown by the FJA made for a successful convention and expo.
